How do I add a vehicle to my garage?

From your Garage, tap the "+" button and enter your vehicle details manually, or use the license plate lookup to auto-fill your year, make, model, and VIN.

What is the AI document scanner?

When adding a maintenance log, you can upload a receipt or invoice and our AI will automatically extract the service type, date, cost, and part details — saving you time on data entry.

How does the Ask AI feature work?

On any vehicle's detail page, the Ask AI tab lets you ask maintenance and modification questions specific to your vehicle. The AI searches community data, automotive forums, and manufacturer specs to give you accurate, actionable answers.

Can I share my vehicle's service history?

Yes! On any vehicle, use the Share feature to generate a public link. Anyone with the link can view your maintenance logs and modifications — great for potential buyers. You can deactivate the link at any time.

How do I transfer a vehicle to another user?

Go to your vehicle's detail page, open the menu, and select Transfer. Search for the recipient by username, then send the transfer request. The other user must accept it before the transfer completes.

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes 1 vehicle, unlimited maintenance and modification logs, full community interaction, and unlimited share links. Upgrade to Pro to unlock AI features and unlimited vehicles.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime. If you subscribed on iOS or Android, manage your subscription through the App Store or Google Play. For web subscriptions, go to Settings in your dashboard. Your Pro access continues until the end of your billing period.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings and select Export Data. We'll generate a ZIP file with all your vehicles, maintenance logs, modifications, and other data in CSV format and email you a download link.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom to find the Delete Account option. You'll need to type "DELETE" to confirm. This permanently removes all your data, including vehicles, logs, and uploaded files.

My content was flagged by moderation. What should I do?

If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged, you can appeal by emailing support@carjourney.io with the Violation ID shown in the error message. Our team will review your case and respond as quickly as possible.
